To encourage exposure and markets for Australian bands/artists.

To stage events primarily in the rural sector, including all ages shows, where young people may support their favourite bands in a safe alcohol free environment.

To assist with the production of demonstration and master tapes for recording/employment purposes of young bands/artists.

To conduct music tuition and nuture Australian talent.

To conduct educational workshops in various aspects of the music industry thus increasing employment opportunities for the young music technician, band manager, journalist, booking agent to name a few.

C.H.O.M.P. FANZINE is another aspect of the organisation and also provides exposure for up--and--coming as well as established acts.

To encourage and assist young people with publication of fanzines of their own.

Encourage young people to participate in the the production of C.H.O.M.P. events.

The provision of musical instruments, P.A., rehearsal space and computer equipment.

10.

To provide opportunities for community groups such as Scouts, rural Fire Brigades and youth groups to raise funds by participating in C.H.O.M.P. shows in areas such as catering.
