Vision statement / Artistic goals: Bringing together the MLC Old Collegians' and Male Voice Choirs to continue and enhance a tradition of excellence in the performance of choral music

Previous musical experience: Jane Elton Brown graduated from the University of Melbourne, BMus, DipEd, subsequently gaining the degree of Master of Music (Melb) with First Class Honours; she was Director of Music at MLC for 29 years; she has toured England with the MLC Chorale, and her work includes commercial recordings, radio and television broadcasts as well as live performances; Jane has conducted performances of major choral/orchestral works, including Mendelssohn's Elijah, Carmina Burana, Messiah, Mozart's Requiem, Verdi's Requiem, and Haydn's Creation; she was appointed Conductor of the Glen Eira City Choir in 2001, is an experienced examiner in music, adjudicator at eisteddfods, a member of the Board of the Faculty of Music and of the Committee of Convocation at the University of Melbourne
