Vision statement / Artistic goals: To make live, beautiful music accessible in unusual and beautiful places; to give young choristers and soloists the opportunity to work with professional singers, conductors and orchestras

Previous musical experience: Sydney Sun Aria winner, Arts Council fellow - London 1972-75, Soloist with the VSO & ABC, Music Director of Eltham College for 17 years

Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: Australian Alpine Symphony Orchestra, Australian Pops Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria, Choir members from Melbourne, Regional Victoria and NSW

JOINING REQUIREMENTS

Audition: Yes - experience in choral singing required

OITA - 16 Youth Choral Scholarships offered - covering half the cost of meals/accommodation at the Beechworth location

Minimum Attendance policy - Rehearsals: Yes Concerts: Yes

Membership Fees: Cost of 4-5 days at Beechworth, VIC

Ability to read music: Highly desirable

Sight-reading ability: Highly desirable
