Vision statement / Artistic goals: The Laverton Community Choir is open to people 16 years and over who enjoy singing; the choir's objective is to be part of the Laverton cultural fabric, and to be available to embrace opportunities to perform for the greater community

Musical Repertoire: A range of popular and contemporary songs along with some folk, gospel, sacred-type songs and rounds; choristers are encouraged to bring along a favourite piece of music to be performed by choir

Membership Fees: $70 per term - special circumstances considered, nobody is barred from singing because of money but a love of singing is required

Examples of musical pieces performed: Aliyah, Bonsoir, Skye Boat Song, songs from Les Mis, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, My Fair Lady, some country and folk music, some traditional, four-part harmonies and rounds
