Vision statement / Artistic goals: A musical haven where women committed to choral music can achieve choral excellence, a spirit of harmony and elation

Musical Repertoire: Small gems from classical choral tradition, world-wide, incuding Latin motets, church anthems, Elizabethan madrigals, 20th Century choral music from UK, US, Finland - everywhere, some spirituals, folk song arrangements, popular style songs

Musical Director: Leigh Wigglesworth

No. of years in current post: 7 (since the choir's beginning)

Previous musical experience: Conductor of various school, church and community choirs, including Mentone Girls Grammar, Ivanhoe Boys Junior School, Melbourne Girls Grammar (MGS) Morris Hall (Junior campus), MGS Old Grammarians Choir, Scottish Gaelic of Victoria, and St George's East Ivanhoe

JOINING REQUIREMENTS

Audition: Yes - Music reading ability, or willingness to learn, unforced vocal tone, ability to match pitch, informal audition in comfortable surroundings, followed up by integration process within the choral sound

Minimum Attendance policy - Rehearsals: Yes Concerts: Yes

Membership Fees: $60 per term for 4 terms p.a.

Ability to read music: Highly desirable

Sight-reading ability: Desirable but not essential
