Vision statement / Artistic goals: Promoting the four-part harmony, barbershop style of music for women; encourage a universal appreciation of this style of music through education and performance

Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: East City Sound joined with other Victorian Sweet Adeline Choruses to form a chorus of over 100 singers singing at The Melbourne Concert Hall to celebrate the Bi-Centenary; the chorus has appeared several times on the same concert stage as several other Melbourne choirs
JOINING REQUIREMENTS
Audition: Yes - Show ability to sing one of 4 parts within the chorus; 2 songs to be learned (no music) with correct notes and words; learning audio tapes are issued
Minimum Attendance policy - Rehearsals: No Concerts: Yes
Membership Fees: $100 membership fee, plus $35 per month
Ability to read music: Desirable but not necessary
Sight-reading ability: Highly desirable but not necessary
