Vision statement / Artistic goals: Choir Victoria is a parent-managed choir which aims to provide children with thorough choral training to create excellent choristers as well as responsible and confident young people

Previous musical experience: B.Mus.Ed, currently Head of Music at Geelong Grammar School – Toorak Campus; formerly Director of Music for the Australian Girls' Choir, 2000 – 2006 and worked for the choir for a total of 24 years
Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: Morning Melodies Concert at Hamer Hall with David Hobson, Geelong Football Club's Best and Fairest Night (singing the Geelong Club theme song), Remembrance Day Service at the Shrine Of Remembrance in Melbourne, Victoria Day Celebrations at the Melbourne Town Hall, Concert with Voicebox (adult male choir), Burwood Carols By Candelight
JOINING REQUIREMENTS
Audition: Yes - Choir Victoria holds auditions for the Victorian Boys Choir annually and occasionally bi-annually; on audition days, primary school aged children are welcome to audition with the Director of Music while parents attend an information session, before being taken on a tour of their facilities; auditions in 2009 are Term 1 and Term 3
Minimum Attendance policy - Rehearsals: Yes, 80% for Cadenza (Senior Choir) Concerts: Yes, concerts are compulsory
Membership Fees: Currently: Semplice (Beginner) $120 per term; Intrada (Intermediate) $140 per term, Cadenza (Senior and Performing Choir) $160 per term (subject to change); no charge for hire of performance uniforms for Intrada and Cadenza Choirs when performing
Ability to read music: Not necessary - Musical education is provided
Sight-reading ability: Not necessary - Musical education is provided

CHOIR'S ADMINISTRATION
Administration / Governance arrangements for the Choir: Choir Victoria is managed and administered by an appointed Committee wholly made up of Choir parents, including President, Vice President, Secretary, Fundraising Manager, Marketing Manager and General Committee; the Treasurer and Music Librarian are volunteers whose children were Choir Members in the past; there is also a Sub-Committee Manager for Fundraising and a Sub-Committee for Major Tours
