Vision statement / Artistic goals: The choir's primary function is to serve the musical needs of the liturgy at Christ Church; the choir is engaged in the “public relations” aspect of the parish, chiefly through giving concerts at Christ Church and other local venues; there are some occasional collaborations with local musical organizations, such as the City of Moreland Brass Band, etc

Previous musical experience: BMus (Uni of Melb, 2004) in organ, harpsichord & musicology, MMus (ACU, 2005), Assistant Organist at St Peter's (Eastern Hill) (1997-2001), Assistant Parish Organist at Christ Church (South Yarra) (2001-2003), sundry other freelance church music work
Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: In the Choir's current incarnation since 2004, very little; in the past 12 months, the Choir has joined forces with the Choir of St Peter's (Eastern Hill), the Brunswick Salvation Army Band, and the City of Moreland Brass Band; networks for future collaborations are currently being formed
JOINING REQUIREMENTS
Audition: Yes - Requirements are not arduous: a sense of pitch and rhythm, sense of humour, enjoyment of a wide range of music, and not least, availability on Sundays

Ability to read music: Desirable - this can be taught or refreshed if needed
