About a million years later God reintroduced the motor car. More importantly, it was the same VW Beetle. The only differences were the absence of an engine, and the presence of the camels to pull it along.

The exact location of reintroduction is still causing heated arguments among the greatest minds. Egypt! The time is also a bit baffling. About 1360BC. to be precise. The leader at this time was in fact the one and only Tutankhamen.

It was a bright morning and Tutankhamen was outside playing two-up with his buddies. (Yes, this game was around then except after the heavy anti-gambling laws of 1301 BC it seemed to disappear. "Over time people will develop these cars into technologically advanced super-machines. They will be used for pleasure, for money, for work, for fun and for transport. In the very far distant future they will even be used as a status symbol.

"I now give you one of these cars. You have been selected from our list of great people to have the honour of being the Very First Car Owner. Of course you still have to pass our special test, as everyone after you will, but this is just an easy test to prove that you can drive your car. This car that I am now giving you courtesy of 'Holy Cars' is yours to do with as you choose. The instructions are under the seat, the car is in the garage, the garage is outside. Happy driving."

And with that he was gone again and in came King Tut's soup.
