One simple way to publicise the club is to place notices on public noticeboards. This is a method which has been sucessfully used by the Mentone chess club for some time.

You can do this if you live in Melbourne and have a printer. You can download the flyer document which is a word document. Print it out and it can be posted on public noticeboards at public libraries, university and other tertiary institutions, neighbourhood houses, community groups etc.
