Congratulations!

Hello.
I would just like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the terrific effort that has been put into creating this website. I would just like to say that I believe that those awards were well deserved, and I hope that many more are won in the future!

Yours sincerely,

Greetings

Hi there! Just wanted to wish you all a good day from one Melbourne (Florida, USA) to another. I'm an EMT currently attending fire school in Orlando. My only dream is to visit Australia. Perhaps one day...
Sincerely, Theo

Hello from the 911 Fire Police Medical Web sites....

I would like to apologize for not acknowledging your signing of the Guestbook sooner. I am sending this mail to 226 guestbook signers... I know I have written to some, but since I placed the new guestbook online May 24th, I know I have missed a lot of you, and wanted to be sure you know your not forgotten.

The 911 Site, takes up a great deal of time, its like a second job at times, fun, but a lot of work... Some of you may know that I also am part of Firefighting. Com back in Atlanta Georgia, and help maintain it as well. I am out here in California on the Central Coast between Santa Cruz and Monterey, in Watsonville... Take a peek at  http://www.hotcity.com/~shutterb/ for a lot of links to all kinds of neat sites here in Monterey Bay area, from the Board Walk on the beach in Santa Cruz live cams to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, there's some neat stuff......

I would like to thank you all for the very, very nice comments about the 911 Site. Since its beginning in January 95, I have tried to create a site that's just a bit different than all the rest. It is ever changing as a lot of you have probably noticed, as I am never satisfied or finished with it. As fast as something is dreamed up, I try to implement it for everyone to enjoy....

The site is still 100% a personal site, don't let anyone fool you into thinking its a comercial site, it is not. The ads you see onboard are favours to each for one reason or another.. It does not at this time generate a penny. I maintain it 100% on my own, with the exception of 2 things... I have a helper on the kids section. Anita Ford in Pennsylvania helps to keep that section alive with new stuff all the time......

The other exception is we have something called the Daily Showcase on the 911 site. Every nite, usually very late, I send out a Subscriber based email, to all on the list. This email is put together through the combined efforts of 4 webmasters from 4 different sites, and we currently bring to the subscribers, 5 sites a nite, from 5 areas of Emergency services, from each webmasters area of expertise.. We will be adding a new catergory shortly, so that Law enforcement will come nitely, instaed of sharing at the large catergory. The daily showcase mailing is a freeby to anyone who wishes to subscribe, and seems to be catching on rather quickly... If interested in subscribing, please go to the:  Sign up page It is automated now so you can subscribe/unsubscibe at your own convenience.

I am in the process of putting together a newsletter, that will go out Bi weekly, with all kinds of bits and pieces of info, that you may also sign up for. If interested in it, please visit the main station page of either 911 site.

Finally, a brand new section is being added to the site called Emergency Services Super Vactions. This will be a comercial section, offering Cruise packages combined with seminars and/or training at the same time. It will be geared around Emergency Services, and we now have 3 different cruises under contract as of late last week, so the pages with this info., will be online within the next few days....

Well, I thought I had better say hello to each of you, I know that this is not exactly what I wanted, I just have no way to wite 2226 individual email letters, just not enough time.... I hope each of you realize I have read your entries and enjoy each and everyone of them... Thank you all, it is very much appreciated....

p.s. If you have an Emergency Services related site, but its not listed within the sections of the 911 site, please send me email and tell me, I have been rebuilding the site the past 2 and a half monrths, I am halfway done, and have 2885 links within it, but know theres a lot of missing ones right now..... I visit each site using Netscape before its placed on the 911 sections....
