FEDERATION: FOR AND AGAINST

The public debate surrounding Federation revealed differences of opinion on every topic and in every colony. This section sets different opinions about Federation issues against one another. Arguments made in favour of and opposed to Federation are sorted into three groups: the first group examines different views on the constitution; the second looks at opinions based on regional differences; and the third gives some different agendas of particular organisations.
