The Castlemaine MX Track is a shale clay surface. The track is approximately 1.8km long with man-made jumps and 34 starting gates. The track design perfectly caters for all types of riders, novice, juniors and senior pro's. |
There is an operating canteen, male and female toilets with showers. The track site also has great camping with heaps of space, trees, wind protection and shade. There are wash stations for bike cleaning which are operating during larger race meetings. |

The track is located on the Maldon-Castlemaine Road, Maldon. Take the Midland Highway out of Castlemaine heading toward Campbells Creek. Turn right into the Pyrenees Highway. Turn right into Maldon-Castlemaine Road. Follow the road for approximately 10kms. The track is on the right hand side, approximately 4 kms before you get to Maldon. |
