Sunday 9^th December was our Club Presentation Day and AGM. Thank you to all who helped make it a great day.

 

The new committee for 2008 was elected at the AGM.

The Club is not in the best position right at the moment but if all members get behind the new committee and renew their memberships we will be able to survive beyond 2008.

 

2008 AND BEYOND

We have secured a 2 Day Open which will run over Easter Weekend for this year.

We have also been informed by the Western Region Committee that we will have a round of the Region, this date is still to be confirmed. As a club we need to run both these events to survive beyond 2008. We need all members to get behind the committee on these events to help make them a success.

 

Mark is currently working a new format for Club Days and Ride days and working on the calendar for the year and if you have any ideas or suggestions please feel free to contact him.

 

MEMBERSHIPS – 2008

A renewal form has been attached to this newsletter. Please fill them out and get them in as soon as possible before the 31^st of January when your current memberships expire. Also feel free to pass the word and promote our club to new members.

 

FIRST AIDERS AND OFFICIALS

We need to update our database on first aiders, officials, lap scorers, starters, marshals, track maintenance and canteen helpers. Please fill in the form that was attached to your membership form and return it with your renewal. This will help us to have some idea on who is able to help out on race days and ride days.

Mark is currently updating the clubs website (yes we do have one!!). You will be able to download membership forms, race calendars and club day entry forms. It will also have the committee contact details. If anyone has photos of members riding on the track that we could use on the website please forward them to Mark Hauke at lha18022@bigpond.net.au.

 

WOODS MX COACHING

Alex Woods will be holding a one day ride school at the track for any riders who need to have their 5 hours coaching for licence renewals or for riders who would just like some coaching. It will be held on Sunday 30^th of January 2008 from 9am until approx 3pm. The cost will be $100 per rider. This is a great school and riders of all levels will get a lot out of it.
