Welcome to the Castlemaine & District Junior Motocross Club website. This site is
updated regularly to keep our members informed of upcoming practice days and club
events.
The CDJMC committee members are focused on opening the track as often as possible and using funds raised to improve member facilities.
We are always happy to welcome new members and encourage suggestions/club participation from existing members.

Lee Hogan - Castlemaine 2 day BCP clinic - 04/02 & 05/02
Lee Hogan provides a great structured learning approach to improve the abilities of all riders of all ages. If you have never had any professional coaching you will be amazed at how much you will learn from attending one of Lee's 2 day clinics.
Coaches are Jades Oates & Ryan Mitchell
Open to all ages and abilities
Cost $200 for 2 full days of coaching

Craig Rutherford - Motocross Coaching Day at Castlemaine 25/2 & 25/3
We are very happy to announce that Craig Rutherford will be holding regular coaching days at Castlemaine. Craig has over 20 years of experience with many years as a Pro-Open Motocross/Supercross rider.
We have locked in the 1st couple of training days for the 26/2 & 25/3 with more dates to come. Craig is giving CDJMC members an exclusive 20% discount on the normal coaching price. Support Craig's efforts to provide regular discounted coaching at Castlemaine. This is an ideal opportunity for Juniors to get their 5 hours of coaching and for seniors to brush up on their skills.
Open to all ages and abilities members/non-members. Cost $80 for the day - CDJMC members or $100 for the day non-members. To book call Craig 0439 759 601 or email RUDDMX@hotmail.com.
Craig would also like to hear from members/non-members who would be interested in after-school (or evening) coaching. If you are interested contact Craig and if he gets the numbers we could have regular after-school/evening coaching.

Club Champs - we are going to try something new. The club champs will change to 6 rounds run over 2 series. Trophies (1st, 2nd & 3rd) will be awarded in each class at the end of a series. Riders must compete in at least 2 rounds of a series in order to qualify for a trophy.

Overall Champion trophies will be awarded in each class for highest points accumulated over both the series. Presentation of these trophies will be at the end of year Xmas family day.
Castlemaine Masters 14 & 15 Jul 2012 - Two day event with overnight camping for juniors and seniors. The event will be open to CDJMC members and invited MV affiliated clubs (TBA). Day membership will be available.
Come and Try Days - We will hold 2 come and try days during 2012
Practice Days - We now have a number of club official so we plan to hold plenty of practice days during 2012. We plan to pre-booked at least six practice dates for the new year with more being announced as the year as progresses.
Xmas Family Day 2 Dec 2012 - A fun day is being planned with practice, Club Champion trophy presentation, AGM, spit-roast, Santa and show bags for all the kids.

A few members have asked if there is a contact for the guys out on the track filming the last round of the Club Champs.
