Purpose
The Christ Church Brunswick website provides information about Christ Church and its activities within the life of the Church.
Design
The site is designed to provide accurate, up-to-date and interesting information in an easily readable format. It also aims to be an efficient site to access. To those ends, the source HTML has been hand-coded to avoid the significant overheads included by web page authoring packages; images, for the most part, are relatively small in size for efficient transmission, whilst not compromising image quality.
Accessibility
Particular care has been taken to make the site browser-independent. Any browser should be able to view the site without problem, including text-only browsers for the visually impaired.
The only requirements are that the browser should recognise tables and Portable Network Graphics (.png) files, even if it cannot display them.
Browsers such as Netscape, Mozilla, Mosaic, Internet Explorer and Lynx (text-only) should have no problems.

Where appropriate, links to other websites are provided for the reader’s interest. Sites which display pop-up advertisements are deplored and deliberately avoided, wherever possible.
