AUSTRALIAN ARTIST MAGAZINE AWARD CERTIFICATE (NSW)
Australian Artist Magazine runs an award certificate competition open to all artists, inviting them to submit slides/photos of works on a chosen theme. Original works are not required. Total prizes: $1,750, plus 10 free subscriptions (each worth $78.60). Winning works are published in Australian Artist monthly magazine. The current award is Challenge No. 10 - Still Life / Floral. Deadline: 25 October. Winning works and selected Highly Commendeds will be published in the December issue of Australian Artist. YORK ART AND CRAFT AWARDS (WA)
The objectives of the annual Art and Craft Awards are to enhance York's profile as a centre of artistic, cultural and heritage significance in WA. Total prizes $7,250: "The Year of the Outback" AMP Life Ltd Special Theme Award of $1,000, 6 x $500 prizes for Art Section; 5 x $500 prizes for Craft Section; also 3 x $250 prizes.
