Artist's statement
Roberto's art, being evocatively instigated by music, has evolved close to total abstraction over the last five years, but he avoids a total impulsive abstract art as an end result. He takes his painterly romantic virtuosity back to nature, being challenged by adventurous trips to painting locations where he paints among rocks and trees, or at the Nobbies in Philip Island, amongst other places.
