ELAINE BATTON
Elaine is an Australian Photographer living in Melbourne, whose work has been influenced by nature, colour and impressionist painters.
Fine art photography specializing in medium format colour transparency images celebrating the colour and beauty of nature (portraiture and abstract landscapes) in a unique and vibrant style.
These works explore and celebrate beauty, an aspect often neglected by artists seeking to highlight other necessary voices and messages in the contemporary art world. The beauty around us, is however an important aspect to keep in focus in our lives and adopt in conjunction with other areas of exploration. Influenced by work through the ages, these works continue to influence and inspire.
Other work by the artist includes colourful and vibrant flower imagery as well as contemporary black and white images.
Qualifications & Experience
Advanced Diploma of Photography PSC (completed December 2004). Elaine has also extensive experience both in Australia and internationally in management, marketing, communication and consulting.
