SANDRA ANDRIJASEVIC-BARACI

Sandra Andrijasevic-Baraci, a Croatian national was born in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia 1975. Since early childhood she has shown an inclination towards the arts, deciding firmly on establishing career in arts upon entering the college in 1994. She left Croatia in 1993 to study in USA, and upon completion of the studies in 1997, moved to Australia.

Sandra creates primarily in two media, oil on canvas, and reversed oil on glass. She believes that the art is the expression of the emotion, hence, through her work she tries to portray her emotional struggles, as well as preserve the memory of her hometown Makarska, Croatia, and its people, the way it was before the civil war in early 1990s.

Sandra displays her works through several online art communities as well as through her web page.
