Welcome to

Cas's Tatting Page

Intro

Tatting is the lacy stuff in the background on this page.  If you're a non-tatter stumbling upon this page not wanting to know anything more about it, then you'll find these pages *VERY* boring.  You have been warned.    =)

I've included some links I've found useful in the past.  There's HEAPS of tatting links out there, and this is nowhere near being a comprehensive list.  You may notice the occasional Australian reference as you wander through these pages, as I do happen to be an Aussie.  =)

By the way, the coins in the piccie up top are (L to R): an American dime, an Australian 5 cent piece, and an English 5 pence piece.  I figured a lone Aussie 5 cent wouldn't help too many people.  =)

My Tatting Piccies:

These are some of the things I have tatted.  In most cases they're done from patterns in books I have, with one or two originals ( not many ).  All pictures have references to the books they came from ( if I can find it!).  Just click the hyperlink to see the rest and pattern details.

Enjoy!

http://etatters.ning.com/

From the lady that brought us "Etatters" the mailing list, we now have "Etatters" the online forum and social network! Similar in functionality to Facebook, without the apps. Photo sharing, video sharing, personal profiles, groups within etatters, private messaging, and still a general forum for questions etc with the whole of the forum.

Stocks thread, books and shuttles ( clover and Birch from my visit ), and if you're after something in particular they will try to get it for you.

For those that don't like the hooks on the Birch shuttles, David runs a free "de-hooking" service (consisting of a pair of pliers plied on the spot.)  Very friendly service.

They do have a website, but for some reason don't seem to have the tatting stock listed.  It is there!  Honest!
