Well a new season is up and running with our swimmers doing some great times throughout the past club nights. Many thanks to all our club members for their much needed help on those night attending the kiosk and timekeeping. We are holding a chocolate drive over the next month or so, to raise much needed funding for the club. The committee would appreciate your help in selling a box or of chocolates for us. This is the time of year where we all allow ourselves a small treat once in a while. Keep up the exercise and work it off in no time.. That is the real goal.
Remember parents we need all the help we can get no matter how small. Raffle prizes, Fundraising, sausage sizzle volunteers, selling chocolates or even Timekeeping. The more help we get the more the club can grow. The more our kids will benefit in many ways. Good luck kids in 2007.
Aggregates have commenced for this season from week 1.
Be sure to try to attend all swim nights as its very important to attend
and add to your Aggregate point tally each swim night.
· Welcome to all our new members who have attended our first 5 club nights. We are so glad you have decided to be a part of our team. See Notice board for any information you might need. Membership Fees for 2007 season are due now, part payments will be accepted.
· NEXT COMMITTEE MEETING: 6/9/07 Thursday Night 7.00pm Foyer area -Craigieburn Leisure Centre. Apologies can be sent via email. Kids can swim while meeting is taking place. Joe will supervise.
Congratulations to all 8 swimmers who competed 23/6/07 in the North West Aquatic Meet. Results will be attached to your mailed copy of the Newsletter.
Well done to Acacia for her efforts in achieving 1st in her 50m Breaststroke event.
