An evergreen shrub which prefers a well drained soil and a protected sunny position.
Bright green, lanceolate, aromatic leaves and a profusion of purple tubular flowers in spring make this an ideal garden shrub.
Can grow to 2m with a spread of 2m.
Propagation by seed or cuttings.
