Eucalyptus ovata - Swamp Gum
   
A fast growing evergreen, upright tree with a moderately dense canopy  indigenous to Victoria NSW Tasmania and SA.  Swamp gums vary in height from 8 to 25m.  Adult leaves are broad-lanceolate with wavy edges.  Coastal trees tend to be smaller than those inland.  Flowers are white usually March to June in groups of  4 - 8, followed by a woody capsule.  Propagation is by seed.
Koalas will eat the leaves of Eucalyptus ovata.
