NSW and southeastern Queensland species now
naturalized in Victoria where it has, in some places, become an
environmental weed. A fast-growing hardy plant, good for screening or
shelter for smaller, younger plants. Tolerates full sun and will
grow in most soil conditions.
Small evergreen tree 5-15 m.
Phyllodes are dark green and fern-like.
Clusters of bright yellow flower balls from late winter to early
spring.
Propagation from scarified seed.
