Acacia dealbata - Silver
Wattle

Occurring naturally in Victoria NSW and Tas. An easily
grown tree (6-30m) with silvery grey feathery foliage. The
flowers are terminal racemes of lemon-yellow balls
followed by a seed holding pod.
Young trees are a host to the Imperial Blue Butterfly caterpillar.
Aborigines used the seeds as food, the gum as an adhesive and the wood
for axe handles.
