John G: The Northcote Bowl is in Victoria Street, Northcote.
It takes about 10 minutes by car from Carlton Contact.
Lino: The sport played there is tenpin bowls, an interesting game.
You need accuracy and some finger-hand strength to handle the bowls.
The facilities are clean and safe, large enough for all the people
playing the games.
There are chairs and benches so the players can wait for their turn in the game,
seated comfortably.
The people responsible for running the place are good and the costs are
reasonable.
John G: It costs students in a group $6.50 to play two games.
Shoes are included.
Lino: It is a good group fun activity.
Individually, one should not need to book but it might be a good idea if
one is involved in a group.

The YARRAVILLE HOTEL
Kevin:The Yarraville hotel is in Yarraville.
It is easy to get to. There is plenty of car parking at the hotel.
The food is good and plenty of it and the staff is very friendly.
The atmosphere in the hotel is full of happy people, lots of very
happy drinking people. The service in the Yarraville hotel is
great - you could not get better in Melbourne.
The costs are low for the meals and the plates you get are big.
The hotel is a great place for students to have after school activities.
You do not need to book at this great hotel in Yarraville.
The staff are the best of all: we will drink to you all!
Anne:The Yarraville Hotel is a long way from Carlton Contact
Neighbourhood House. The first time we went there, we all got lost.
Now we know the way. The food is well cooked and very cheap. The
atmosphere is relaxed. The service is great. It's a great
idea to go to the Yarraville Hotel in a group because
people can talk and laugh together. It's a busy place, so book a
table.
