Beaconsfield Flora and Fauna Reserve Education Kit
The education kit was prepared by Lisa Loulier as part of a project in Science Education for her final year of Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Science in 2004.
It provides information for visiting the reserve with your class and a variety of learning activities to assist teachers to study the local environment in the classroom and in the reserve.

Any feedback on the kit is appreciated and can be emailed to:

Introduction to BFFR for teachers

Learning Activities

Discover, learn and enjoy!

The Friends of Cardinia Creek Sanctuary can assist schools, community groups and other interested people to learn more about the reserve and caring for our local environment. Our members are all local residents, some with backgrounds in horticulture, environmental science and education, and others with local knowledge and a dedication to the local community. We can offer guided tours, presentations and information on the reserve.

The Beaconsfield Flora and Fauna Reserve provides a natural classroom for school groups to study the local environment and conservation. We can help to tailor activities to your curriculum needs in all Key Learning Areas and CSF levels, as well as VCE and tertiary studies.
