CAPO National Open Championships, 3-4 August 2002

Where: Mercure Resort Surfers Paradise
122 Ferry Avenue, Surfers Paradise
Accom: Same place
Special rate of $107 per night includes:
- Accom for 2 adults in a resort room

Entries have closed.

Presentation Dinner
Any lifter or official intending to attend the presentation dinner MUST have pre-purchased a ticket, as there will NOT be tickets available at the door. If you require tickets, please contact Mason Jardine on (07) 3201 6648 NOW, as vacancies close 19 August. 

Reminder:  Any non-lifting official MUST complete a Declaration Form prior to participating in the competition. These forms can be obtained from your State Co-Ordinator prior to the event, or from Andrea Sterns at the event.

Session Lifting Times (weigh-in times will be according to WPC Rules), please check with Mason Jardine on (07) 3201 6648 for these times and location.

Session 1 Saturday,  3 August
Commencing @ 2.00pm
ALL Novice Men
ALL Junior Men
ALL Masters Men
Session 2 Sunday, 4 August
Commencing @ 9.00am
ALL Women
Session 3 Sunday, 4 August
Commencing @ 12.00 Noon
ALL Open Men

Remember, it is the lifter's responsibility to ensure you attend the correct weigh-in session, and if you have any queries regarding your equipment, check with the official at  the weigh-in.

Annual General Meeting

The AGM will be held on Friday, 2 August  from 6.00-7.00pm. All members are welcome to attend. 

2002 WPC World Championships

The 2002 WPC World Championships will be held from 22-27 October in Helsinki, Finland. The venue is the Sporthouse, Helsinkistreet 25, right in the middle of Helsinki.

The lifting schedule (which will be subject to entries received and therefore subject to change) presently is:

Mark it in your diaries .... 2003 WPC World Championships will be held in Darwin, NT. Stay tuned for information as it becomes available ... and keep training hard!!
