Our Monthly Meetings

The Camberwell Probus Club meets at the Uniting Church Hall, 200 Glen Iris Road, Glen Iris, situated between Glen Iris Primary School and High Street – Melway 60A9. Adequate parking in area.

Christmas Dinner Meeting

Our next meeting will be the Christmas luncheon at Kew Golf Club at $57 per person. Complete the booking slip (click Booking Slips) and make contact with Peter Williams with your payment so as not to miss out.

Annual General Meeting 2 March 2010

This meeting will take the form of a luncheon at Prospect Hill Village. Nominations for the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and up to 5 committee members willbe open. Please contact Secretary Barry Kennedy if you are interested in nominating.

ACTIVITIES

Walking Group

The next Probus walk will take place on Tuesday, 24th November at 10am. We will meet in the same place as for the September walk - the car park opposite Eaglemont Tennis Club (Melway 31K10). Cross the Burke Rd Bridge, turn left at The Boulevard and take the first turn on the left marked Yarra Main Trail. However on this occasion we will walk in the opposite direction along the Yarra flats. BYO monring tea. PIcnic tables available but a spare chair may help. Enquiries Geoff Stephens 9882-7909.

There will be no walk in February due to the Carlton Brewhouse outing.

Forthcoming Outings

Carlton Brewhouse Tour and Lunch. Tuesday 23rd February 2010. The ninety minute tour of the brewery in Richmond will be followed by lunch in the brewery cafe and three free drink tokens. Drinks can be draught beer or glass of wine or soft drink. Tea and coffee available at own expense. $52 per person includes tour and lunch and coach fare. See attached booking slip for more details. Slips need to be returned at our Christmas luncheon.
