Our Monthly Meetings

The Camberwell Probus Club meets at the Uniting Church Hall, 200 Glen Iris Road, Glen Iris, situated between Glen Iris Primary School and High Street – Melway 60A9. Adequate parking in area.

Dick Gross will speak on Municipal Planning and the St.Kilda Triangle.

Meeting, Tuesday, 4th August

Dr J.O.Miller will speak on Fromelles and the Western Front. Dr. Miller's father was the Regimental Adjutant and he survived the battles.

ACTIVITIES

Walking Group

On Tuesday 30th June, we will meet at 10am at Banksia Park, Bulleen in the first car park on the right (services Heide Museum). Turn left into Banksia Park off Templestowe Road, the continuation of Buleen Road over Manningham Road (Melway 32 E5). We will walk around the yarra at Banksia Park, finishing with coffee at 11am in the Heide Museum Cafe.

Walkers and other members may wish to then take the opportunity to visit what is said to be an excellent exhibition at Heide entitled Modern Times: The Untold Story of Modernism in Australia. Emanating from Sydney's Powerhouse Museum, Modern Times explores how modernism transformed Australian culture from 1917 to 1967. Enqjuireis to Geoff Stephens 9882-7909.

We will change the August walk to Tuesday 18th August to avoid a clash with the Club outing.
