Our Monthly Meetings

The Camberwell Probus Club meets at the Uniting Church Hall, 200 Glen Iris Road, Glen Iris, situated between Glen Iris Primary School and High Street – Melway 60A9. Adequate parking in area.

Meeting, Tuesday, 10th November

This outing is planned to follow our November meeting, which, because of Cup Day, will take place on the second Tuesday of the month. We will meet at the usual time of 10 am at the Uniting Church Hall, finishing in good time to enable us to be in Camberwell in time for lunch at 12.30pm at the Purple Sands Tea House and Restaurant, 180 Camberwell Rd. $30 per person includes lunch and the film Mao's Last Dancer at 2pm at the Rivoli.

Meeting, Friday 4th December 2009

Christmas luncheon at Kew Golf Club. $57 per person. Complete the booking slip and bring to the November meeting or post to Peter Williams before that date.

ACTIVITIES

Walking Group

The next Probus walk will take place on Tuesday, 27th October at 10am. The meeting place is the same as for the August walk, ie., the East Malvern Tennis Club Car Park, off Moira Street (Melway 59K10). We will walk in the oppsite direcdtion along Gardiners Creek. BYO Morning Tea. Picnic tables available. Enquiries - Geoff Stephens 9882-7909.

Forthcoming Outings

Tuesday 10th November 2009. YumCha and Rivoli Theatre afternoon. The outing is being planned to follow our November meeting, which, because of Cup Day, will take place on the second Tuesday of the month. We will meet at the usual time of 10am at the Uniting Church Hall, but there will be no speaker, which will enable us to be at Camberwell in time for lunch.

Friday 4th December 2009 – Christmas Luncheon. This luncheon will replace our December meeting. Please keep this date in your diary or you may miss out on the mouth watering Chrismas Fare we have come to expect at the Kew Golf Club.
