Rocky the equine icon of Abbey Walk has gone to the great pasture in the sky. For almost 40 years he gave pleasure to young and old alike with his gentle attitude and appreciation of attention and always acknowledged his name being called by anyone.
Some years ago there were about 6 horses agisted here when the paddock was more than twice the size. Rocky had a life time tenancy and now after his passing we are negotiating with Maroondah Council to have the paddock (which will be a park) named "Rocky's Reserve".
