Bentleigh West Kindergarten is a community based kindergarten with an open, friendly and caring environment.

Our dedicated teaching staff are committed to providing a child-centred curriculum based on PLAY. Children learn through play. Through play they have the opportunity to expand their world, to identify and solve problems that are relevant and meaningful to them, and to draw on themes, experiences and roles that arise from their social interactions.

We believe that strong partnerships between educators, children, families and communities build positive relationships and enhanced understanding. The Kindergarten aims to promote a meaningful partnership between educators and parents, not only through parent involvement in activities such as kinder duty and working bees, but also through collaboration within the curriculum.

Bentleigh West Kindergarten is located alongside Victory Park in Patterson Road, Bentleigh. Our children have access to creative and stimulating activities both inside and out, including a vegetable garden from which they harvest and prepare their own food, a performance stage, challenging outdoor equipment, an engaging natural environment, and a wide range of quality toys, puzzles, books, natural materials and play equipment. The children are active participants in sustainable practices, including recycling, composting, worm farm, waste reduction and water conservation.

Bentleigh West Kindergarten offers 4-year-old and 3-year-old kindergarten. We welcome enquiries from families interested in enrolling at the Kindergarten. Feel free to drop in during a session, or contact us to arrange an appointment with our teachers.
