4-year-old
enrolments are processed by the City of Glen Eira.
A
child must be at least four years by 30 April in
the year they attend four-year-old kindergarten. Glen Eira City
Council accepts enrolments from 1 May in the year the child turns
three, as shown below:

3-year-old
enrolments are processed by the
kindergarten.
2011:
Places for 2011 are
fully allocated. We are no longer taking applications.
2012: Applications
for 2012 open at 4pm on March 5th, 2011 (early applications will not
be accepted).
Unfortunately, our
local kindergartens are unable to offer enough 3YO places to meet
demand, so we regret that we cannot guarantee a place for every child.
Our policy is to give all families an equal chance by offering places
strictly "first in, first served" from the designated enrolment date
(i.e. March 5th, 2011 for 2012 places). For full details, please view our
3YO enrolment policy.
PLEASE NOTE:
- To apply for the 3 y.o program, your child must turn 3 years old by 31
January of the year they are to attend.
- Preference
will be given to children who live, work study or have childcare in the Glen Eira Council and nominate BWK as
their 1st preference for four year old kindergarten, through the City
of Glen Eira Central Enrolment Scheme. This will be confirmed
with the Glen Eira Council Kindergarten Enrolment list.
- Completed
application forms and a non-refundable application fee of $10 (cash
only please) should be submitted in person at the kindergarten.
- Your application
may be submitted by a proxy (e.g. a relative or friend).
- Each person may
submit one application per family.
- Places will be
offered based on the order of receipt.
- A receipt and
acknowledgement letter showing your application number will be sent
shortly after your application.
- First round offer
letters will be sent in June/July.

2010 Fees (full year)
Fees (including enrolment deposit, tuition
fees and excursion levy):
4-year-old
kindergarten: $1090 per year
3-year-old kindergarten: $1100 per year
Please
note: discounted fees apply to holders of Health Care cards (valid for
4YO only). Please notify staff if this is applicable to your
family.
