Between 1986 and the Bicentennial in 1988 the club and band produced a series of double cassettes, for the quadrilles titled ‘Quadrille Mania’, one for the ‘Country Dances’ titled ‘The Merry Country Dance’ and one for the couples dances titled ‘The Waltz, The Polka & All Kinds Of Dances’.
At the present time the club and band are in the process of upgrading this series with fresh recordings onto CD and with largely new arrangements. Two of the new Quadrille Mania CD doubles have been shared between Dancing Pennies, Emu Creek Bush Band, The Gay Charmers & the Wedderburn Oldtimers Orchestra. The third of the Quadrille Mania doubles is by Emu Creek and the first triple CD of ‘The Waltz, Polka & All Kinds Of Dances’ is also by Emu Creek. Important historic archival tracks of older bands and individual dance musicians have been represented on these recordings.
The Quadrille Mania double CDs.series, Vol 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, sell at $20 each or $55 for the full set of three. There is also a complimentary companion booklet with each double CD. Postage is $5 and covers one or two double CDs and booklets and $10 for the set of three doubles.
The ‘Waltz, Polka & All Kinds of Dances triple CD is $30 plus $4 for package & postage.
