Bowls Coaching

Lachlan Tighe is probably the most well recognised bowls coach going around the Victorian Metropolitan clubs. Lachie has been down to Burwood District on a number of occasions to give a talk to our members and point them into the right direction in order to help each individual achieve their goals. He has been a successful coach at international, state and local club levels.

The Club is fortunate to have a number of qualified coaches accredited by the Australian Coaching Council Inc. Accredited National Coach (A.N.C.) and members with outstanding experience, knowledge and background in the game.

Coaches are encouraged to initiate coaching as they determine the need.

All bowlers can improve their bowling skills and knowledge of the game by making use of the club coaching resources. In addition, skips and side managers should draw on the coaching resources to improve individual and team performances.
