Welcome to the Bulla Garden Club.

The Alister Clark Memorial Rose Garden is dedicated to growing, displaying and promoting the roses developed by Alister Clark, and is maintained by the Bulla Garden Club, with the help of Hume City Council.

Alister Clark (1864–1949) was Australia’s most prolific rose breeder, releasing 122 roses between 1912 and his death. He lived and bred his roses in Bulla. Sadly, many of these roses have been lost to cultivation over the years. The garden has all of the 66 Alister Clark Roses currently available .
