On Saturday March 18th, a group of friends rallied together to start a 'maple cleanup'.

In a relatively new part of the park there were hundreds of maple seedlings that had taken root. Unless they are removed at this early stage the job can quickly get out of hand.

After a few hours of removing seedlings, the friends took the opportunity to enjoy the luxury of the new bbq in the Tarra Valley Picnic Area and the cooking of David and Pam Pattison.
