 The Western Victoria U3A Cluster is a partnership of seven U3As in Western Victoria, Australia, now representing more than 2,000 individual U3A members. The Cluster was formed in 2000 to enable the group to achieve things that were beyond the resources of any one of the member U3As.  Promotion of the U3A movement is the main role of the Network. This role involves: Fostering the creation of new U3As and the further development of existing U3As. Acting as a reference body and serving as a U3A resource facility. Serving as a link between all Member U3As. Providing publicity and promotion of the U3A movement to the general public, the government and other public bodies. Organising conferences, seminars and special events. Seeking government funding. At present there are 85 Victorian U3As in the Network |
 The Third Age Trust is the UK U3A national representative body. U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.
