Other U3A's news ...........
Mebourne City has a new image

* Our 2 GPLACE classrooms now have good blinds and block-out curtains in the others. Big thanks to Hayden Vincent who has organised and supervised installation.
*
Our thanks also go to retiring Committee Members Pam Nam who has ably organised the membership records and Michael Doepel for keeping tabs on the equipment. They have been a stalwart part of the Executive team and will be missed.
* A welcome is extended to new Committee members Fran Hanrahan and Brian Costigan who will take their places in the team.
* It was felt prudent to increase the annual fees to $40 as increasing Ballarat membership is placing demands on our resources.
* The Consortium Men’s Shed has progressed well. John Olsen has reported this elsewhere. John has been nominated as U3A represent-ative on GPLACE Committee of Management

Autralian History Through Song

The Australian History through Song class is off to a great start and will continue beyond its short class status.
Good News for those who like to dance.
There is a good chance that we will be able to offer Line Dancing classes next year. More soon.
TUTORS AND CLASS REPRESENTATIVES PLEASE NOTE
If there are any changes made to your class e.g. change of class rep, contact number for class rep or tutor, or a break in the class’s continuity, etc. inform me so that we can keep records up to date.
