Community
During its short history, our club has been an avid supporter of community organisations and charities such as:
- Australian Rotary Health Research Fund
- Mental Health Initiative
- Juvenile Diabetes
- Southern Family Life - counselling service
- The Quad Hand (aimed at providing some mobility for quadriplegics)
- The Food Bank
- Kids Construction (raising safety awareness among children)
- Flood Relief for East Gippsland
- Portsea Camp
- The Brighton Courthouse youth drop-in-centre
- Bayside Youth Accommodation House
- Bayside Special Development School
We have helped out at the Variety Club Awards, 'Walked for the Cure' for diabetes, and provided extra hands at Mayflower Homes' Annual Fete, and much more.
