Did you know that the
Bruthen Blues
and Arts Festival
is a 100% volunteer event?
The festival is run
entirely by volunteers from the Bruthen
community and the wider district.
Would
you like
to volunteer to help out at the Festival?
You could be an important part of
the Bruthen Blues and Arts
Festival. There are many opportunities to be a member of the
festival
crew.
Organising and preparation
in the weeks leading up to the festival:
-making street decorations and backdrops
-helping with the preparation for the street parade
-distributing promotional information
-setting up prior to the weekend
On the weekend of the
festival:
-putting up street decorations
-help with street parade and duck race on Sunday (carrying props,
helping at each performance site, duck wrangler, duck catcher, duck
race judge)
-assist in setting up and packing up venues over the weekend (hall,
street, market, pub)
-selling tickets at the door, or staffing the information stand
-rubbish monitors and general street cleanup
-and if you have any experience in production or setting up you will be
most welcome.

volunteer
for the Blues Crew,
you will
undoubtedly have a
lot of fun,
and meet some very
interesting people.
Any time or help you can provide
will be greatly
appreciated.
For your effort, we can offer you
free admission to some or all of the events
over
the weekend, depending on how much time you donate.
