Tourist Attractions and Activities
Easy Access Australia just about covers every major tourist attraction in Australia - From snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef to a guided tour at the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock) to a cruise on Sydney Harbour to a Tree Top Walk in the Tall Timber Country of Western Australia to a visit of the historic convict site at Port Arthur to Victoria's Fairy Penguins to the Wine Country of the Barossa Valley - to name but a few.
Each attraction was visited and written up following the "accessible path of travel concept". That is everything from an accessible dedicated car space, entry to the attraction, access to gift shop and/or cafe, provision of accessible toilets and whether they be Unisex or male and Female and a description of access around the attraction (including pathway - paved, sandy etc).
The access information is combined with interesting information, it may be quirky or historic, making Easy Access Australia a good and informative read.

Accommodation
Easy Access Australia does not rate accommodation - rating systems do not work, rather it looks at accommodation options in two ways. In each area or region covered, a number of accommodation options are listed in the chapter then described in detail with a floorplan of the bathroom revealing the layout and key measurements. The aim is to provide the users with sufficient information to make up their own minds as to what will work for them. The guide contains about 300 floorplans.
In addition other accommodation options are included to provide the users with additional possibilities. Often the properties included are very accessible but were not able to be included in detail. The guide contains about 300 such options.
The accommodation included in the guide covers:
- Hotels, mainly in the capital cities,
- Resorts,
- Motels,
- Guest Houses,
- Bed and Breakfast options,
- Caravan Parks, more and more caravan parks are building new accessible cabins while many offer accessible toilet/showers in their amenities blocks,
- Backpackers, like caravan parks, Backpackers are making ensuite accommodation (the preferred option) available but many offer an accessible but communal toilet/shower.
