The following itineraries give some suggested sights to see if you have limited time.
New South Wales
Trips assume you have your own vehicle. Holidays available using public transport will be available soon.
Sydney - highlights in a few days
Day 1 The Rocks, Circular Quay, Harbour Cruise and The Opera House.
Day 2 Macquarie St, Botanic Gardens, City - Sydney Tower.
Day 3 Darling Harbour, then catch a ferry to Homebush Bay Olympic Site.
Day 4 Explore the eastern suburbs and beaches with the Bondi & Bay Explorer Bus.

The ACT - Canberra
Sydney to Brisbane
This 1,000km trip can be completed quickly in two days on the Pacific Hwy via Coffs Harbour then the Gold Coast or New England Hwy via Tamowrth or Armidale. Alternatively take a bit longer to travel the Journey.
Pacific Hwy
Day 1 Sydney to Newcastle only 130kms north.
Day 2 Newcastle to Coffs Harbour, about 450kms. Highlights are the Big Banana, Mutton Bird Island and river cruise at Urunga. Consider a side trip to Bellingen and The Waterfall Way to Armidale.
Day 3 Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay, about 250kms. Highlights along the way include Grafton, The Grafton Regional Art Gallery and sea side resort town of Yamba. Highlight at Byron is the Cape Byron Lighthouse & Headland Reserve and The Old Piggery.
Day 4 Byron Bay to The Gold Coast, about 100kms. Highlights are the Tweed valley and Gold Coast attractions, Sea World, Movie World, Dream World, shopping and beaches. From the Gold Coast to Brisbane is less than 100kms.
New England Hwy
Day 1 Sydney to Tamworth, about 450kms. Highlights along the way are the Hunter Valley wineries. At Tamworth, the Golden Guitar Complex and Tamworth Power Station Museum.
Day 2 Tamworth to Armidale, 110kms. Highlights are the Armidale Heritage Trolley, Dangar Gorge and Waterfall. Consider the Waterfall Way to Coffs Harbour.
Day 3 Armidale to Toowoomba Qld, about 450kms. Then about 120kms to Brisbane.
Sydney to Melbourne
The 900km trip follows the Hume Hwy and can be completed in a full day as the road is freeway except for a few remaining stretches in NSW. Alternatively follow the Princes Hwy along the coast.
Hume Freeway (Motorway)
Day 1 Sydney to Canberra, about 280kms or to Albury, about 500kms. Highlights Dog on the Tucker Box near Gundagai (no accessible toilets) and at Albury, Albury Regional Art Gallery & Museum, Harveys Fish & Fun Park, Paddlesteamer Cumberoona and proximty to Lake Hume and the Rutherglen Wine and food region in Victoria.
Day 2 Albury to Melourne, about 300kms and all freeway.
Princes Hwy
Day 1 Sydney to Bateman's Bay, about 250kms. Higlights are the Clyde River and proximity to Canberra about 90mins. It is another hour to Narooma and Clark Bay Farm.
Day 2 Narooma to Merimbula, about 150kms. Highlights include the dairy region of Bega, Merimbula Marina, the old wharf and the town of Eden about 30kms.
Day 3 Merimbula to Bairnsdale, about 4.5hours. Highlights are Lakes Entrance and Paynesville.
Day 4 Bairnsdale to Melbourne, about 300kms.
