Paul Hills made a stunning debut to league football, when he was picked straight from the under 19s to play in the seniors in 1991, bypassing the reserves completely. He found his niche on the wing, with strong running play and good passing. He was a member of the 1993 premiership side, but in 1995 he had some difficulty with form, and couldn't find a regular spot in the seniors. The wings are one of the most competitive positions, with
Ricky Olarenshaw, Che Cockatoo-Collins, Mark Fraser, Michael Long and Damien Hardwick all capable of playing in that position. Achievements: Essendon premiership side 1993, Essendon night premiership side 1993.
