Chris Daniher is the last of the Great Daniher Dynasty at Essendon. History was made when he played with his brothers Terry, Neale and Anthony at Moorabin in 1990, the first time four brothers had played in the same side in the VFL. Chris had his best season in 1996, playing mainly on ball picking up a number of touches around the ground. He shows leadership and experience, which combined to make the year a good one for him. Unfortunately injury meant that he missed a number of games towards the end of 1996, almost cutting his season short prematurely. It will be a sad end to an era when he decides to hang up the boots.
