Dean Wallis is the tough man at Essendon, just ask Mil Hannah. In the 1993 Grand Final he provided the physical presence, especially when he bumped Mil into the turf. In recent times he has had major injury problems, especially with an achilles complaint. Sheedy likes using Dean Wallis in the tight games, perhaps because of his own physical style from his playing days.
