Peter Cransberg is a player who has fought for his place in the Essendon side over the years. He is tall but light, which gives him agility which most tall players lack. Recently he has been playing ruck in the reserves, and has had a try at most positions on the field at Essendon. His form of late in the reserves has been excellent, and after playing one of his games in the seniors late in the year he was unlucky to be dropped.
