Well the Dreamteam is over for another year (and another lucky person won $20,000). That means that these are the final facts and figures about the 1995 Dreamteam from an Essendon point of view. Additional to previous weeks, I've included totals, player averages and weekly averages. This gives an overview of how the team did this year. As I've noted, however, the averages are not completely accurate due to the fact that the Dreamteam player lists did not include players like Danny Morgan, Matthew Lloyd and Shawn Lewfatt. Congratulations must go to Peter Somerville, coming out as the clubs top scorer in the Dreamteam this year. He was closely followed by James Hird and Michael Long, and those three finished 7th, 8th and 9th respectively in the overall competition. A player unlucky not to finish in the top ten overall was Mark Mercuri, who was up there until the end when he got injured. Well perhaps these figures may act as a formguide to picking Essendon players for the Dreamteam next year.
