History

Our club was chartered in June 2002, after the
Rotary Club of North Balwyn identified that there was a need to grow
participation in Rotary specifically by finding new members around the 30
to 45 year old age range.
Below is a brief timeline and summary of our
achievements:

Early
2002
|
The Rotary Club of North Balwyn ran a series of
interest meetings as the first stage in chartering a new club aimed at busy
people. Over 60 individuals attended
these early meetings.
During these meetings the format and structure
of the new club including meeting times, durations and venues was
discussed. The group developed and
adopted an informal meeting style of approximately an hour duration, this
format continues to this day
